The new XMPie StoreFlow web-to-print software with Avanti Slingshot Print MIS integration updates inventory status in the storefront automatically, for the print provider to see their current product inventory status in real-time.

This integration extends the value of the printer’s Avanti Slingshot, an advanced MIS solution, as well as the printer’s XMPie PersonalEffect StoreFlow web-to-print software.  By sharing the inventory system data to the storefront, printers can help their clients to monitor the number of products in and out of stock and in demand, directly in the application that is familiar to them.

The integrated solution solves a critical problem that customers face because manually managing inventory levels on a Web-to-Print storefront can often be complicated and time-consuming.  Because the system automatically updates the inventory status in the web-to-print storefront, they can now easily access the status information.

This integration is an integral part of the workflow for monitoring inventory levels of on-hand products that printers are storing for their customers and allows replenishment planning to produce more quantities when volume gets low.

This integration is a first in the North American Market and is possible because both XMPie and Avanti software are built with an open modular software strategy for easy 3rd party integration.  By working together to address a problem their mutual customers faced, XMPie and Avanti have helped print providers to improve their workflow so that they can focus on higher-value tasks.

For the print provider, this integration is a game changer because with all inventory information in a single, central location – the storefront – they can stay ahead of the demand curve, respond quickly to any changes, keep the right number of products to hand, serve their clients faster and achieve higher service satisfaction levels.

They can streamline operations, cut down on losses due to errors and reporting delays, and improve cost-efficiency. They are also able to better optimize their storefront for their clients to achieve higher sales because they have better access to information about which print products are in the most demand and which combinations are ordered.
