Ever wonder why some of your widgets seems to go "wonky" on your dashboard? Basically, dashboards work in a particular way, whereas widgets require specific configuration in size, in order for the system to show all information.
Customers may notice after including some widgets on their dashboard that the widget header is hidden and no records were populating. In some cases, icons will be overlapped over one another. This is because certain widgets do not display correctly as 1x1x1 layout configuration. They were designed to use larger columns. Therefore, a good rule of thumb is to try a different layout when you see hidden headers and overlapped icons.
Here is an example using widgets for Customer, Customer Sales and Activities:
Figure 1: Notice the row configuration for the widgets on the right is 1x1x1.
Figure 2: When applying the dashboard, this is what the widgets display. Notice missing headers and icons overlapping.
Figure 3: The Row configuration separates into 3 layouts, each widget has their own row and all information is shown.
