Avanti Slingshot Tech Tip: Item Inquiry

Have you ever needed to confirm what job(s) a particular inventory item was used for? Have you ever needed to know the purchase history of a particular inventory item?

Look no further than the Item Inquiry Tool. This module falls under the Inventory section of Avanti Slingshot and allows you to search for inventory items, see a history of orders the inventory was used for, as well as its purchase history.

No more guesswork. Simply search for the item you need, and see all jobs it was used for as well as its purchase history!

Using the Item Inquiry module:

To find the information you’re looking for, simply

• Open the Item Inquiry module under Inventory > Item Inquiry.
• Find the item you need information for by either searching by Item Code, Item Description or scrolling down the list until you find it

Finding the information you need:

Select ‘Order History’ for a list of sales orders the inventory item was used for

Select ‘Purchase History’ for a list of purchase orders that included that item
