Jared joined the Avanti family in January 2014. It was clear from his initial meetings with the leadership team that things were moving in the right direction at the company, and his background/experience was a great fit. He recently assumed responsibility of the Support team for Avanti Classic. This has been an exciting change that provides Jared visibility across Development, Quality Assurance and Support – almost the full circle. He leverages that every day to benefit/improve results for our customers, and to make what we do internally even more efficient.
Jared loves creating things. He views software, and its construction, as an art form. Before joining Avanti, Jared worked at Trader, Virgin Gaming and Venture Communications.
In his spare time, Jared enjoys gaming (no surprise there!), writing, sports, travel, listening to Eminem, and of course, technology and “geeky stuff”. He doesn’t consider himself a “movie guy”; the last movie he saw was Titanic, but does enjoy reading. The last book he read was 1421: The Year China Discovered the World, by Gavin Menzies.
Jared graduated as a Computer Programmer Analyst from CDI College. He has been married to his wife, Jenny for 15 years, and admits to a terrible affection for Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal.
