We are all looking forward to the spring, which is not far off. With that comes the planning for the 2013 Avanti User Group Conference, which will take place from May 29-31 at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto. This wonderful hotel is located in the heart of downtown Toronto with beautiful waterfront views and easy access to the city’s attractions - from the financial district to the lively Lake Ontario waterfront.
For our new Avanti customers who haven’t experienced a User Conference before, this is a great forum for you to meet other Avanti users both long time and new customers, get up to speed on new enhancements and features, speak to the Avanti team about how to get the most out of the system and discuss challenges, opportunities and trends with your peers. I would like to extend a warm welcome and introduce you to our new Manager of Product Support, David Kileeg and our new Professional Services Manager Stephen Buss.
Dave brings 15 years of experience in customer service and will be responsible for our customer support team. Prior to joining Avanti, Dave held leadership positions at Gavel & Gown Software and VMC, where Dave managed customer support teams. Stephen is responsible for managing all aspects of the professional services organization. He has over 15 years of experience leading the successful deployment of enterprise software solutions. Avanti attended this year’s PODi AppForum, the leading industry event focused on digital printing which took place from January 28-30 in Las Vegas. It was great to catch up with local customers and old friends.
Avanti attended Dscoop8 in Nashville, Tennessee at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center. We demonstrated our integration into HP’s SmartStream Director and SmartStream Production Pro DFEs. We also featured our Advanced Fulfillment module which is now available as part of Version 12.4.1. This module received the 2012 Must See ’em award at Graph Expo.
