We’ve set up a series of annual awards at Avanti that are very special because of how winners are selected. The awards are voted on, not by the owners and senior leadership team, but rather by the employees themselves. If you want to know who on your team is REALLY contributing, often without fanfare and self-promoting, ask your team!!!
You should have seen the smile on my face when Claire talked me through the results of the voting (to ensure anonymity, I had Claire consolidate results without sharing with me who voted for who nor the source of comments).A whopping 79% of our people received votes! How awesome is that!?!? That tells me that we have one heck of a great team who ALL contribute to our success every day!
Another interesting and important stat was the number of people that work (people on our Implementation team, some of our Development team and all of our Sales Team) that received votes – these are people that not everyone at Victoria Park gets exposure to very often, so they wouldn't necessarily be top of mind when voting. Of our remote staff, 76% of them received votes. Big congrats to them!
